The child care
management team at
UNIVERSITY FOR KIDS formerly KIDDIE
UNIVERSITY has over 50 years of combined experience establishing and growing state of the art child care facilities.

Kiddie University was established to enhance the effectiveness of child care owners and administrators throughout the United States. The child care consultants at UNIVERSITY FOR KIDS formerly KIDDIE UNIVERSITY have their beginning as a Family managed center based in Prince George’s County and Charles County Maryland. In 1991, the first child care center came into existence from a child care center by another name that was operating in the red with low enrollment and high staff turnover.

The management team, which is now known as UNIVERSITY FOR KIDS formerly KIDDIE UNIVERSITY, took over and almost immediately transformed the Center into one of the most premier centers in Prince Georges County. In just over 3 years, enrollment increased from 70 children at one location to over 500 children in 4 separate locations.

Our Story.

During this period, management collaborated with numerous public and private organizations to provide resources to its children and families. Over the years management has written and received numerous grant funding for program expansions and achieved national accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young children (NAEYC).

With a rising number of failing and/or unlicensed child care centers, our mission is to coach these facilities and transform them into quality child development centers that meet and exceed federal and local state child care center requirements.

Our child care management team is driven by a common purpose to improve the lives of those we serve in the areas of child and family health, child welfare, employment, and education. For nearly three decades, together with government partners, we have developed and managed innovative child and family health programs that have transformed lives and strengthened communities. We believe that when you have a strong director, a good culture, inspiring curriculum, committed teachers, wraparound services, involved parents, and a supportive community, students thrive.
